I totally know how you feel. People generally are insecure and like to talk about themselves so much that they fail to ask about others. Don't feel that there is something wrong with you because you are shy. Not everyone is meant to be a social butterfly or the life of the party. Personally the most interesting people I have ever met, are the ones who are not always wanting to be the centre of attention. You seem like you have a few close friends and that's all you need! There is an old saying that says (something to the effect) "If you die having 2 close friends, you've lived a great life!" Sounds to me that you have more than 2!! Maybe these people who don't ask about you, aren't really worth your time! I know, it's hard to not think of such things! Just try to focus on those that love you and not on the other losers that don't recognise how great you are! Gotta go! Love, Joelle
