We Are The Champions!
2002, February 25 - 2:24 a.m.

CANADA! CANADA! CANADA! Damn right, we are the champions my friend!! Bwahahaha! There is no such thing as winning the silver, it's losing the gold! To: Canada! Wahhh! There are hockey moments and then there are Canadian hockey moments. I'm not even a big hockey fan, but Olympic hockey brings out the true canuk in me. We are the hockey masters, not just the women but then men too. No other Country has ever done that ^_^ Olympic history and I saw it, cheered through it and did victory jigs with my fellow Canadians. Well, maybe not jigs, but yeah ^_^ An estimated 8 million Canadians were watching that game, but the guess was by tv signals. They didn't even take into account the amount of people watching in bars and large groups. Likely two thirds of the country was watching ^_^ Remember now, we're a small bunch; only 32 million. 8 million is already 1/4 of the country as it is. *Grin* there were reports of towns being in a deadlike state as everyone was inside watching the game. People took the day off to watch. I know construction workers were out on the side of the road with portable TV's.

In the American press there was so much criticism of Canadian hockey. Well if we suck and we beat them... ;)

We are the champions, we are the champions! No time for losers, cause we are the champions...of the world!
