*Shudder*

Sometimes whether or not I have a good drawig day in class depends wholey on the model. Today's model is one of my least favorites. She likes to use the poll. The poll is a bastard and the tool of lazy models who don't want to support their own weight, ever. She is also rather... inappropriate.

On top of holding a poll for five poses in a row, boring us all to tears, she likes to do somewhat pornographic poses - spreading her legs and exposing her vagina and all of its contents. I could barely handle it. I also noticed she looked a bit off. Her labia looked like puffy red oranges. Later I realized she had been aroused. Aroused while posing naked with her legs spread to college students. She had smiled and giggled the whle time she posed; she was really getting off on it. The whole one side of the class that got 'the view' could barely look at her.

The purpose of life drawing is to see how the body really moves and bends, to notice where muscles wrap and bones stick out. You can't cartoon propery unless you know these things. We are never asked to do genetalia in detail, just a quick mark one way or the other to show everyone it's male. For females, it's unnessesary because of the breasts. Disney does not requite the knowledge of drawing labias or penises. Magazines don't need you to be able to draw the clitoris right. why she did that... I can't get the image out of my mind. Pubic hair is supposed to cover the vagina - it's from prehistoric days to protect the genetalia. It's not supposed to be visable under the hair. It was. *shudder* We all saw something we didn't wan to see. Life drawing is impersonal! We don't need to see someone in a sexual state. It's invasive to the senses. Apparently she's showed everyone her ass hole too. I wish she would get fired. We just need to see muscles and bone structure, shadows on the skin and where rolls of fat occur. The fact that she went out of her way to make the class unnecessarily uncomfortable says a lot about what a nut case she is.

The only funny part was when we took a break and Brian (instructor) mentioned that some of the poses were 'hard to look at' and the model was still in the room. He was as bothered as we were. In fact he fled the room when she posed. Someone needed to tell her. This is an art class, not Penthouse.

Other less interesting things happened as well, but you know - priorities. I'm off to play 'Harvest moon' now. It's a cool classic game from SNES. I'm so addicted!
