| God Bless 'Em 2003, March 26 - 12:20 a.m.
The more I hear about the war on Iraq, the more I get pissed off. I have also watched half of Bowling for Columbine this evening, saving the other half for tomorrow night. Good grief... What is it with America and guns? America and war? America with violence? Ok, now war aside for a second, there are roughly a little over a hundred gun related killings in Canada every year. There are over 11,000 in the States. Yeah. True fact. Lets look at more true facts. The right to bear arms was put in to protect the people of America from a Britsh re-invasion. Now call me stupid, but I don't think they're coming. Another interesting tid bit: America funded Osama and his buddies to fight the Soviets. $3 billion was it? Sounding stupid yet? Well, maybe this will sum it up... Osama, from his hidden little home, has said that the towers were attacked because America can't keep it's nose out of the middle east. Now, what happened was horrible, but honestly... whenever there is any crisis in the middle east that doesn't involves them in any way except for oil, they jump in and gum up the works. Thousands get killed from their interferance. What else has Osama said? That if they don't stay out of the middle east, there will be more attacks. So what does good 'ol Bush do? He starts a war with Iraq. He is not going in there to liberate any one. If that was the goal, why the war? Why not assist the people? Why not educate them? Why tear down a crumbling country and rid it of it's dictator only to make it more vulnerable to other ass holes who see an easy target for domination? Oil. God bless Georgie.
